Here is the path from your stay to post-operative advice.

PRE-OPERATIVE CONSULTATION

During this appointment, after a clinical examination, your surgeon explains the reasons for the intervention, the expected benefits and the risks associated with this surgery.

ORGANIZATION OF HOSPITALIZATION

Our secretary explains the different steps and formalities to be carried out before your hospitalization. She gives you all the documents to send to your mutual insurance company, specifies any skin preparation or pre-operative regimen, and gives you the contact details for the anesthesia consultation.

APPOINTMENT WITH THE ANESTHESIST

The anesthetist checks your history, assesses the allergic risk and collects your usual treatment. He may request additional explorations (cardiologist).
He tells you which treatments should be taken the morning of the operation, relays certain medications (oral anticoagulants), and explains the procedures and procedure for anesthesia.

AFTER THE PROCEDURE:

On the evening of the operation, your surgeon comes to see you in your room, to give you his operating findings, to explain the procedure to you, to ensure that you are well and to give you post-operative instructions.
